The weather in Puglia is typically Mediterranean.
– In the coast and level areas, summer is very hot, windy and dry while winter is temperate. Rain is usually autumnal and  wintry.
– In Subappennino Dauno, in Garganoand on the High Murgia, summer is fresh. Winter is rainy and snowy.

♦ Rainfall: 450-650 mm/year. Maximum level (800 mm/year) in Gargano, in Subappennino Dauno and in the Adriatic side in Salento.

♦ Temperature
– Winter minimum temperature: between 1°C and 3°C in Gargano and 7,5°C in Santa Maria di Leuca.
– Winter maximum temperature: 24° in Gargano e 30,6° in Foggia.
